Chhed bharana - plugging leaks,  is a humanitarian initiative born from the collective efforts of a multicultural group committed to social and environmental well-being.

Inspired by the work of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) and her humanitarian organisation Embracing the world, our project seeks to offer timely and effective support where it is needed most.

Inspiration and Guide.

Our project, Chhed bharana - plugging leaks, finds its inspiration in the extraordinary humanitarian work of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, known worldwide as Amma, and her organization Embracing the World.

Amma, internationally recognized as a humanitarian and spiritual leader, has dedicated her life to alleviating the suffering of those most in need. Her philosophy of love and selfless service has touched millions of lives around the world.

Embracing the World, founded by Amma, is a shining example of how actions, taken with dedication and compassion, can transform lives and entire communities on a global scale. Her holistic approach ranges from meeting basic needs to implementing long-term sustainable solutions in areas such as education, health, the environment, women's empowerment and humanitarian disaster response.

Compared to Amma's vast humanitarian work, Chhed bharana - plugging leaks is just a small drop in the ocean, a tiny grain of sand. However, we are deeply inspired by her example and aspire to contribute, however modestly, by following her path of service and compassion.

 We are inspired by:

 1. Amma's unwavering commitment to selfless service.

 2. The belief that every act of kindness, no matter how small, has a significant impact.

 3. Embracing the World's comprehensive approach to addressing social and environmental challenges.

 4. The vision of a world where love and compassion guide our actions.

Although we are an independent and very small-scale initiative, we aspire to emulate the spirit and dedication that Amma and Embracing the World have demonstrated in their tireless service to humanity and nature.

We firmly believe, as Amma teaches, that each of us has the power to make a difference, no matter how small. Through our project, we seek to 'fill holes, plug leaks' that we find in our society, offering punctual but significant support where it is needed most, aware that our actions are modest but hopeful that they can add to the great ocean of compassion that Amma has generated in the world.

Mission

Chhed bharana - plugging leaks was born with the mission of offering timely and effective support to individuals and organizations that are in situations of need or that dedicate their efforts to humanitarian and environmental causes. Our work focuses on two fundamental pillars:

Direct Aid:

We provide small aid aimed at covering basic survival needs. These interventions, although modest, seek to have a significant impact on people's quality of life, addressing essential aspects such as housing, health and education.

Organizational Consulting:

We offer advice to non-profit organizations and social groups to improve their effectiveness and efficiency. Our approach is based on offering advanced management tools that allow us to address the complexity of social and environmental challenges in a comprehensive manner, facilitating the diagnosis of organizational viability and proposing, when necessary, the necessary changes to facilitate it.

Through these lines of action, Chhed bharana - plugging leaks aspires to be a catalyst for positive change, filling small but crucial gaps in the social and environmental fabric. We believe in the power of small actions to create a significant and lasting impact.

Our commitment is to work in a flexible and adaptive manner, responding to the specific needs of each situation and constantly evolving to offer the most relevant and effective support possible.

We not only seek to provide immediate relief, but also foster autonomy and empowerment of individuals and organizations, thereby contributing to creating a more just, sustainable and compassionate world.
